What happened to your light

What happened to your light?

There were days when you used to burn bright,
like a shooting star, killing the night.

A spectacular glimpse of eternity,
With nowhere to go but everywhere.

But now you’re colliding,
collapsing like a nebula.

Each day a little bit more.

So tell me,
What happened to your light?

This poem is a form of self-introspection.
When life was taking a toll on me, late at night lying on my bed, I used to contemplate on things that happened during the day. I could see clearly, that I was sulking day by day.
I used to question myself, and tried to find answers within.”
